The Wellington Farm Folk are the volunteer support
organization for Wellington Farm, USA. They are a semi-formal organization which meets the first Tuesday of
every month. During the summer months they meet at the farm for a pot-luck supper. During the colder time of the
year they meet at the Lone Pine Restaurant in Grayling.
The purpose of the organization is to raise funds
for the farm and to provide the volunteer base necessary to man the various interpretive stations. They conduct work
bees to accomplish some of the major tasks necessary to keep the living-history farm growing and viable. They plan
and carry out fund raising activities to meet the financial demands of special needs projects at the farm. If you would
like to participate or just find out more about the Wellington Farm Folk, please attend one of their meetings at 6:00 p.m.
the first Tuesday of every month.
Please Come and Help!
Wellington Farm, USA
is greatly in need of volunteers. If you like to be outside, enjoy talking to people, like to reminisce and could spare
just one or two days a month, there is a spot for you at the farm. Wellington Farm, USA relies heavily upon the
volunteers to man the interpretive stations and work on major projects. If you would be interested in lending a hand,
please call the farm at 888 653 3276 and ask for a Volunteer Registration Form.
